This is helped with its hardened steel shackle that prevents any bolt cropping. This lock can also be used without the chain and be used as a disc lock if you don't fancy carrying around the chain. It comes with a dust cover that protects the lock barrel from any dirt ingress.The chain is a 12mm square link chain and is made from a tough Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel. It is also case hardened to resist any bolt cutters and is zinc coated to also prevent corrosion. It has a protective cloth sleeve to help prevent damage and to make it easier to handle. The long links help to reduce weight and also increase portability. It fits on to any Oxford ground anchors. This chain can be easily stowed under your seat when not in use.The lock has a key replacement service so that if you are unfortunate enough to lose all your keys a new one can be made up. Just remember to take note of your key number and keep this in a safe place.
