Description
Our hats are handmade of jipijapa fiber by mayan artisans from the Yucatan Peninsula. After a long process from stripping the leaves with a needle, preparing the fibers to weave them in the caves for more humidity, it takes 3 days to weave the hat that finally is pressed to give the model and the size. The technique has been passed down from generation to generation. The jipijapa artisans are proud to share with you their creations made of such quality. Handmade by local artisans in Yucatan, Mexico. 100% jipijapa with French grosgrain ribbon
