Pansy Brittania Mixed is the perfect variety to brighten up your winter baskets, beds, and containers. This variety flowers from winter into spring braving the coldest of weathers, but perfect for creating a colourful display even on a dull day. These pansy’s are sturdy and well branched that produce masses of large flowers with robust petals that will not flop. This variety produces contrasting coloured blooms in a mix of white, blue and red. The strong stems remain short to give a neat and compact appearance throughout the growing season. Gradually acclimatise garden ready pansy plants to outdoor conditions before planting them in any well drained soil, in sun or semi shade. Feed and water frequently but take care not to overwater in winter as this can cause root damage should the compost freeze. Deadhead faded pansy flowers before they set seed to prolong the flowering period.
