Patagonia Granite Crest Jacket Patagonia’s Granite Crest Jacket is designed to withstand harsh conditions whether walking or climbing. The 3-layer H2No fabric is made from recycled nylon and features both a DWR treatment and a waterproof/breathable membrane so that even sustained rain won't penetrate it. The two hand pockets have watertight zips and are raised above the level of a rucksack waist belt or climbing harness so that they are still accessible whilst the chest pocket also acts as a stuff sack for the jacket. Underarm pit zips provide good ventilation and cooling when required and the hood features a large visor to give more protection against driving rain or snow. As is the case with all of Patagonia’s products, this jacket has been made with careful consideration for the environment; the nylon is recycled from old fishing nets to reduce ocean waste, the DWR treatment is PFC-free and it is Fair Trade Certified sewn.
