Philips UV-C table lamp for surface disinfection
Description
UV-C table lamp from Philips for indoor surface disinfection This device in open tower format can be used to effectively remove pathogens from surfaces of furnishings, utensils and appliances in the home. A special energy-saving tube lamp generates UV-C light which enters the room through the open side surfaces and reduces viruses (e.g. flu germs), bacteria and fungi (e.g. mould) to undetectable levels after only a short exposure time (scientifically confirmed). The UV-C resistant housing is made of aluminium with plastic top and bottom. In order to exclude health hazards caused by the UVC light, the table lamp is equipped with a microwave motion sensor which registers movements of people and pets and immediately stops operation in this case. The UVC light is activated 30 s after switching on - during this time the room is to be left. Depending on the size of the room, different disinfection times of 15, 30 or 45 min are recommended, which can be set via the timer on the unit. In principle, it should be noted that the surface to be disinfected must be directly exposed to the UVC light. The UV-C table lamp should therefore be placed in an exposed, unshaded location. - Disinfection of surfaces by means of UV-C light - UV-C wavelength: 254 nm - Permanently installed lamp; service life 9,000 h, 20,000 switching cycles - ozone-free - Connected load: 24 W - Control panel on the top - Timer: 15 min (recommended for 28 m² room size at 3 m range), 30 min (recommended for 20 m² room size at 2.5 m range), 45 min (recommended for 13 m² room size at 2 m range) - Safety function: automatic deactivation by means of motion sensor when entering the room; if the sensor is defective, a start is automatically prevented certified according to EU standards: - Safety: IEC 60598 - EMV: EN55015/ EN 61547/ EN 61000-3-3/ EN61000-3-2 - RoHS: EN 50581 - UV-C safety: GLA UV-C safety guide including IEC 62471
