This wondrous dwarf hardy perennial has a neat and compact habit, which works perfectly in cottage gardens! This stunning phlox also has the added bonus of being used for cut flower arrangements. Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting. Feed and water regularly, particularly during dry periods, until young phlox plants are fully established. After flowering, lightly shear the stems to encourage lots of fresh new growth.
