From ethical designer and OBE Pippa Small, these fine jewellery stud earrings are named Sandar, meaning moon in Burmese, and feature moonstones found in the ancient mines of Mogok. The silvery iridescent gem is believed to be connected to the moon and to female energy and motherhood. Each piece is hand made in Myanmar by artisans trained in traditional goldsmithing techniques, by the Turquoise Mountain Myanmar, which provides meaningful skills and employment in one of Asias poorest countries.
