Plinth Women's Lu Green
Description
Based on a painting by the esteemed artist Paul Huxley R. A., this giant square features a painting inspired by his visit to China. In greens, red and black, the scarf reflects his unique palette and sense of proportion. Paul's paintings are all square, so this scarf format is a brilliantly appropriate translation of his work. Paul Huxley has been a member of the Royal Academy of Arts since 1987, their Treasurer and served for a period as President. He was Professor of Painting at the RCA until 1998 when he was elected Honorary Fellow and Professor Emeritus. Paul Huxley, 'Lu Green', 2014. Published in collaboration with The Scarf Gallery. Silk twill scarf with hand-rolled edges.
