Description
The Artic SL MIPS has been one of the most popular helmets with Slalom skiers for several years with technical updates to meet the demands of today's racers. The outer shell is made from strong and durable ABS while the liner uses EPP foam which can withstand multiple impacts, depending on the severity. Slalom helmets are at the mercy of being hit repeatedly by gates, so POC have added VPD inserts under the shell at the rear to absorb repeated minor impacts protecting the EPP liner. MIPS has been integrated for increased protection from rotational impacts and the 360o fit system can be easily adjusted by twisting the dial at the back. Ventilation is fully adjustable to cope with varied weather conditions and a detachable Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard is included. Lastly, there is a goggle clip at the back and a Fidlock chin buckle which can be operated easily even while wearing gloves.
