Description
Polygon's Siskiu T7 is defining what's possible with a sub two-thousand-pound full-suspension mountain bike. An all-mountain charger in every sense, this big-wheeled steamroller feels like an enduro bike but pedals efficiently like a trail bike.Polygon's intention to build a great descender is clear from the get-go - the T7 has plenty of front and rear suspension travel and a “slack” head angle for handling fast and bumpy terrain. This Siskiu is undeniably a very capable bike but has a playful and responsive feel. Controlling all that speed requires some serious components; the T7's big 29-inch wheels are clad in Schwalbe's awesome Hans-Dampf tyres, the gold standard for grip, and combined with a pair of burly Tektro 4-pot brakes.According to Isaac Newton, what goes down had to go up in the first place. The T7's steep seat tube angle and short (relatively) effective top tube length make for comfortable climbs. With 1X12 Shimano gearing, finding the right climbing gear is easy-peasy, even on the most severe inclines. The Polygon Siskiu T7 is for progressing riders that want an all-terrain bike that gives the confidence to tackle more challenging routes, daring lines and bigger jumps.Note: The T7 is only available with 29-inch wheels in the LARGE frame size. For Small and Medium frame sizes the T7 is available with 27.5-inch wheels. This bike was recently praised by the experts at Bike Radar - see for yourself here.Feature Highlights6061 butted aluminium frame - A strong and lightweight aluminium alloy frame with dependable weld integrity.140mm RockShox Recon RL fork- RockShox quality meets the feel and adjustability of an air sprung suspension fork.Shimano Deore 1x12 drivetrain - A huge range of gears (10-51T) in a durable and smooth-shifting package with no chain slap.Tektro hydraulic disc brakes - Four-pot stopping power for reigning-in speed with one or two fingers of lever pressure.150mm TransX dropper seat post - A reliable hydraulic dropper post with 150mm of travel.
