Very pretty & neatly proportioned Victorian pine washstand with a lovely gallery surround, wide drawer & marble top. Made from vintage pine, the wooden base has aged beautifully with lots of grain & depth of colour. I have oiled the wood to help preserve this. It stands on finely turned legs & has a wide drawer which has been painted in a soft stone colour. I have given this a waxed finish & lined the drawer with oil cloth which can easily be removed. The marble top rests on the base is not attached. The gallery back has its original blue & white tiles which are a lovely feature. There are some marks on the marble but these are age appropriate for this characterful piece. Fabulous in a bathroom or bedroom to add a touch of vintage charm. It measures 74 cm high to the marble. 105 cm high to the top of the gallery at the back. 76 cm wide & 45.5 cm deep.
