Description
This handmade rug is modern and, with its wine red colour and soft pile, provides a calming appeal to all the senses. The dense pile of pure Himalana virgin sheep's wool is particularly soft and fluffy. Thanks to its heat-insulating properties, it protects the feet from the cold and feels lovely to walk on. The processed natural wool comes from certified-organic flocks of sheep from the high valleys of the Himalayas. The climatic conditions there make for particularly hard-wearing wool. A Fair Trade women's group in northern India handcrafts the woven carpet to a premium quality.
