Designed exclusively for Habitat by mixed media artist Quentin Jones, the Antrausic multi-coloured hand-carved tufted pile rug 120x240cm is a luxurious, statement piece. Hand-made by one of Habitat's oldest textiles suppliers in Panipat, looped pile and cut pile are combined to give depth and added textural interest to the design. Made from hand-tufted wool, the detailed pattern is cut with angled scissors to give extra definition to the finish. Known for her surrealist mix of illustration collage and animation, Quentin's first collaboration with Habitat plays with digital types that collide together with painted lines, shapes and elements of the human face and are reworked into a collection of rugs and cushions.
