Description
The Thompson & Morgan Holm Oak is an easy to grow evergreen, which can be clipped into a hedge, or grown as a full sized tree. The tough, glossy foliage has a contrasting white underside, and is later accompanied by shiny acorns. The Holm Oak tree from Thompson & Morgan is perfect for coastal and exposed areas, and are tolerant of pollution as well as being exceptionally drought resistant. Easy to clip and maintain, they will be perfectly happy growing in either sun or shade. Plant Thompson & Morgan Holm Oak plants into any moist, well-drained soil in either full sun or dappled shade. Can be grown as hedging, or as a stand-alone tree, however do keep in mind the final size of the tree when planting. Holm Oak will grow in most positions, including coastal, although avoid cold, inland areas. If grown as a specimen tree Holm Oak will require very little pruning, although when growing as hedge, keep plants trimmed throughout the summer.
