Raleigh have designed the Chic 16 without gears to make your child s transition to a bike without stabilisers hassle free. Aluminium V-brakes have been added to the Chic for safe stopping plus a V-brake modulator has been included which regulates the force applied to the front aluminium V-brake resulting in smoother braking. The levers are easily operated by little fingers and fitted with an adjustment screw to fit to smaller hands.Narrow tyres have been selected for the Chic 16 which feature a modern small block tread pattern making the wheels slimmer and lighter than the majority of the other children's bikes on the market. These tyres are suitable for riding on all terrains including traffic free paths, roads and light trails. As they have done for the last few years on all kids bikes Raleigh have also included junior non-slip pedals that are fitted with rubber pads to prevent feet slipping off. Each pair of non-slip pedals is carefully colour matched to fit the bike design. The bike is finished with an aluminium kick stand and colour coordinated saddle, grips, cables, tyres and handlebar pad for a complete look. Please click on the above specification tab for full spec listPLEASE NOTE: This bike will be supplied to you 75% built.
