This isn’t the first time Reebok and Maison Margiela have crossed paths, nor is it the first time a sporting icon has been given a high-fashion rework. It is, however, the first time the fashion house has got its hands on a Classic Leather. And this one is a far cry from the ’80s runner. Some things are the same — the OG’s smooth black leather uppers, sidewall panelling and plush terry lining are all present. There’s one major structural difference, though — the toe is split, to mimic the iconic Margiela Tabi boot.
