ercol This is a modern side table with soft curves and sophisticated craftsmanship that emphasizes skill in working with solid timber. It is made from pale oak and finished in a clear matte lacquer to both protect the timber and show off its beauty. It’s style is modern but with subtle detailing and soft shapes. Detailing includes shaped legs, whose easy organic lines belie the complexity of manufacture. The shaped edge to the top panels echoes the softness of mid-century designs, but cut into the carcass it gives a streamlined feel to the silhouette.
