While the HVRT is primarily a super fast road bike, it can even take smaller 27.5 inch wheels and huge 47mm wide tyres if that's more your jam! So you can have a fast, aero road bike one day and then a rugged gravel/adventure race bike the next.With Rondo's unique Twin Tip Vario Geo dropouts, you can alter the bikes and head angle and trail measurement to alter the handling of the bike. The steeper, shorter trail is perfect for fast paced road riding, while the slacker, longer trail setting gives a more relaxed handling feel, ideal for when the bike is turned into a fast gravel grinder with 650b wheels.Driving you along is a 2x11 Shimano 105 drivetrain with a wide range 52/36T crankset and 11-30T cassette; fitting for a fast aero road bike while also giving gearing low enough that the HVRT won't be out geared on gravel. Powerful Shimano hydraulic brakes also slow you down with ease. The HVRT rolls on a Rondo X Hunt tubeless compatible 700c wheelset (tape, valves & sealant not included) shod in 25c Continental Grand Sport Race tyres, though it will take up to 30c tyre. The Rondo X Hunt is the most aerodynamic aluminium wheelset around, fitting for the HVRT and it's propensity for speed.
