RST only uses full-grain Cowhide that offers excellent abrasion and tear strength. Each hide is visually inspected and batch tested before selection by one of their in-house craftsmen. These Jeans have used Samtex with Leather motion panels for added range of movement for the rider, and there is also a fixed comfort mesh inner lining for additional rider comfort. For when the weather is warmer, this Jacket has perforated Leather to provide cooling airflow and ventilation to the rider.For rider protection, these Jeans have CE level 2 Hip Armour and CE level 1 Knee Armour. The Jeans have been awarded a CE certification rating of AAA which is the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).Additional features include a 360 degree connection zip for use with RST riding Jackets and standard Knee sliders in Matte included.
