MaxTex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. This jacket comes with a 125g removable thermal lining which can be easily taken out for when the weather gets too warm. This jacket has a fixed SinAqua waterproof membrane lining. SinAqua is a three-layer durable waterproof and breathable membrane offering breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 10000mm/cm3. Along with these, this jacket also has a fixed mesh inner lining. The collar on this jacket is made from using neoprene sports to create maximum comfort. This jacket comes with a lot of ventilation in the form of front intake and rear exhaust vents. The S1 jacket comes with a 360 degree connection zip meaning it can be easily connected to any RST textile jeans.The RST S1 textile jacket comes with many features which include the hook and loop adjustment on the sleeve as well as the cuff and waist adjusters which can be used to make the jacket fit just right for the wearer. This jacket comes with 2 zipped pockets on the outside of the jacket as well as 2 pockets on the inside so that you can keep your belongings on you.This jacket is rated to CE: AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The shoulder and elbow armour on the S1 are rated to CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN. This jacket comes with a pocket for a back protector (protector not included).
