The whimsical, imaginative design of The Sailor’s Farewell depicts his loved-one waving him off at the centre of the saucer, together with his sailing ship and various characters he may encounter at sea such as a frogman on the footed tea cup. Embellished with a deeper blue and hand-applied 22 carat gold details, this delightful set shows Kit Kemp’s enchanting style.
