In the outsole, two different types of rubber are strategically placed to work in unison on the Salomon X Ultra 3 Shoes, resulting in a more intense grip and maximum traction over a range of different surfaces, whether wet, dry, snowy or sandy. For optimum comfort, Salomon have built an EVA shaped footbed to provide excellent anatomical support and daylong comfort. An Ortholite sockliner sits within this, reinforcing the comfort gained within the X Ultra 3 by creating a drier, healthier and cooler environment when worn. The upper shoe also features a hardwearing abrasion resistant upper with minimalistic Quicklace technology that can be simply tightened with a pull and prevents the laces from becoming snagged in dense undergrowth.
