Clear Protective Oil All our solid oak furniture is finished with a clear protective oil that is hand applied as part of our handcrafting process. As the oil soaks into the oak it leaves it with a matte finish and enhances the natural look of the grain and features, bringing it to life. It also provides a protective finish to the natural timber. As with all natural wood furniture we would strongly recommend that you protect our oak furniture from heat and moisture, with the use of coasters, heat-protective mats and other precautionary measures.
