Referencing an archive document, Fringed Tulip Toile is a distressed batik style print transformed into decadently sumptuous bedding. Double-headed parrot tulips and roses appear in weathered form in this smalt colourway of cobalt blue and beige. Aged yet still beautiful, antiqued yet grandiose. This design mimics the technique of extract printing, creating a lightened, almost bleached effect in the printed design. In the duvet, an oversized theatrical Oxford edge exaggerates the grandeur of this bedding, presented on sumptuous cotton sateen. A pair of Oxford pillowcases are included in the sets.
