Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn't been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange & old gold. We recommend that dark blue, dark brown & black cable will work well with this lamp. Small lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s Has a slightly textured unglazed biscuit coloured neck. The lower part has a beautiful bright blue glaze with amber & caramel highlights. Designed by Maria Philippi for Soholm Stentoj (pottery). Handmade in Denmark on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s. Has designer's initials, manufacturer's details & model number etched on its base. Approximately 20cm high including the lamp holder & 12cm wide at the base. Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. Will be rewired with vintage fabric cable & a new switch, retaining its original lampholder. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). in the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
