Description
Lightweight and durable, the Mescalito from Scarpa the perfect scrambling shoe. Developed for technical approaches, the Mescalito claimed by Scarpa to be the ideal choice for prolonged use for mountain guides and rangers. The upper of the Mescalito made from a 1.8mm Suede, subtle for comfort yet exceptionally durable. An Autofit Collar ensures all-day comfort, reducing stress on the Achilles. Additionally, the Mescalito features Scarpas Heel Tension System which utilises a TPU material to stabilise the heel whilst walking on rough terrain, thus avoiding torsional twists. The Mescalito features an exclusive outsole design by world-renowned manufacturer Vibram, with a specific toe climbing zone to provide additional stability whilst perching on rock lips. The unique sole utilises Vibram Megagrip, a high-performance rubber compound that offers exceptional grip on both wet and dry surfaces, ideal for ever-changing ground conditions. Lacing runs all the way down to the toe-box to allow for personal customizability. A rand encompasses the surrounding toe-box and heel of the upper to ensure protection during approach routes where sharp rocks could nick the upper suede. Phenomenally lightweight, the Mescalito features Vibram LiteBase technology, ideal for weight-conscious scramblers.
