B2 alpine mountain boot with SockFit technology and a Hyper-dry waterproof construction Constructed on the renowned last of the Ribelle boot family, the Lite HD the true mountaineering boot for budding alpinists. The upper constructed with Scarpas Sock Fit technology. The tongue, flex point and collar are made from a singular piece of S-Tech Schoeller elastic fabric. The man-made leather-like fabric provides unprecedented durability and doesnt absorb water when oversaturated like the natural counterpart. Additionally, the lighter-than-leather material has exceptional memory properties that once lasted, will hold its shape regardless of wear. A Vibram Pentax Precision III sole features aggressive lugs that provide traction on both saturated ground and snow. The outsole constructed with Vibram Mont rubber compound, which offers sublime reliability in subzero temperatures found at high altitude. Additionally, a PU rubber rand encompasses the toe area of the upper for improved wear resistance.Incorporated into the heel a TPU crampon insert, which allows the Ribelle to be compatible with semi-automatic C2 crampons. The patented lamination process bonds a waterproof breathable membrane to the external outer material of the shoe.
