The new Scotty Cameron Super Select Putter range. The latest evolution of putters by the master craftsman include specialised refinements aimed to deliver more performance to all golfers. The Super Select putter family builds on the success of the tour-proven 2020’s Special Select line. The new family of blade and mid-mallet shapes features improved milling techniques, sophisticated designs, advanced weight distribution and superior multi-material construction. Cameron says the new dual-milled face technology has delivered the “line’s most consistent face to date”. The advanced process involves a deep-milled pass across the putter face and then a second pass of the mill to level the peaks of the face. The resulting flatter exterior distributes a more consistent surface for the ball to impact with the putter face. The new dual-milled processing has also improved the sound and the feel off the putter face. The tour-inspired Plus models are a key inclusion in the 2023 Super Select family. Cameron crafted the Super Select Newport Plus, Newport 2 Plus and Newport 2.5 Plus models to deliver mallet-like forgiveness and stability in slim, blade-like shapes. The innovative Plus models contain slightly wider profiles than traditional blades and are sized in between a classic blade width and wider flanged shape. The new multi-material construction incorporates precision-milled 303 stainless steel heads and 6061 aircraft aluminium sole plates. The new designs boast more stability with weight gathered from the centre of the putter repositioned around the perimeter. The Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2 Plus Putter With a flange crafted slightly wider than a Super Select Newport 2 and narrower than a Super Select Squareback 2, the Super Select Newport 2 Plus offers a Tour-inspired shape that introduces the next profile in high-performance blade design. Milled in USA from 303 stainless steel with a solid face, the Newport 2 Plus has a 6061 aircraft grade aluminium sole plate, anodized clear and engraved with the line’s graphics. The sole plate allows for weight to be designed into the perimeter of the putter head for higher MOI and increased stability. A milled flange sight line provides clean alignment, while customizable stainless steel sole weights provide balance.
