Description
A delightful dwarf variety of Sedum, the perfect addition to containers, rockeries or borders. The deep burgundy, near black foliage is complimented by the carbine-red flower umbrals that appear in late summer to early autumn. A hardy perennial that is perfect for the british weather and easy for all to grow. Sowing time: February to June.Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Do not cover seed. Keep at a temperature of between 21-25C (70-75F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 14-30 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays.
