Seiko Prospex Marinemaster 1968 Heritage Black Divers Watch SLA079J1
Description
In 1968, Seiko launched revolutionary new innovation with the world’s first hi-beat Diver’s watch. With a case design inspired by the original 1968 piece, carrying the name ‘Marinemaster’ from Seiko’s heritage in diving watchmaking, this new re-interpretation has the same 300m water resistance. Under a dual-curved sapphire crystal glass is a black dial with a subtle sand-like pattern. Designed for high contrast under water, all aspects are optimised for diving conditions: a streamlined case, with the crown in the comfy 4 o’clock position, strong Lumibrite for legibility at the darkest depths and a unidirectional rotating bezel as per ISO Diving standard. Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike. • Powered by the automatic movement with 26 jewels and a power reserve of up to 50 hours. • Presented on a silver stainless steel bracelet with fold over clasp. • Scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass. • 42.6mm case width. • 300 metre water resistance.
