The Nike SFB Gen 2 20.5cm (approx.) Unisex Boot provides comfort and protection while allowing you to move freely in rough terrain. The boot is made from nylon canvas with a synthetic leather trim that provides the durable yet breathable feel first responders have come to count on. The Sage colour complements the US Air Force uniform. LOCKED-DOWN SUPPORT A 20.5cm (approx.) collar offers protection and ankle support while the lacing system keeps your boot in place as you move. An updated locking lace system allows you to lace up once for a locked-in fit with an easy pull at the top laces for quick on and off. COMPLETE COMFORT A foam midsole inside the boot provides lightweight cushioning. An internal rock shield helps reduce pressure and protect against punctures while still maintaining flexibility. DURABLE TRACTION The bottom of the boot is completely rubber with an aggressive pattern for solid traction on a variety of rugged surfaces. A saw-tooth design at the arch offers grip for fast roping. The outsole wraps up around the toe and is stitched on for added durability. (men's size 9.5) SFB ORIGINS During World War II, Nike Co-Founder Bill Bowerman served as a member of the 10th Mountain Division in Italy. Upon his return, he became the head athletics coach at his alma mater, the University of Oregon. It was there that he honed a gift for creating high-performance footwear for his athletes. This boot is a realisation of both of Bowerman's worlds.
