Shamuk Wool And Leather Handbag Grey Black And White
Description
Shoulder bag made from part of a wool jerga. It is cube-shaped and closes with a leather loop. Jergas are blankets woven by the Saraguro Indians in the southern part of the Ecuadorian Andes. They are handmade from sheep's wool which they spin themselves and then weave on backstrap looms. These are very old looms that are attached to the weaver's waist. The base and shoulder strap are made of leather. They are not lined. The shoulder strap is adjustable in 3 different sizes. The leather finish is made in small artisan workshops in Spain using leather certified as ‘LWG Approved Trader’. Wool dyed with natural dyes. Protect from heavy rain.
