There is a lightweight chin bar/face shield which rotates with smooth precision on a variable eccentric-axis. there is a large lock release button which is easy to handle, even in gloves, and a all-new dual locking system for improved holding power when in the fully-opened position. Within the Helmet there is a 360 degree Pivot Locking system which has been road-tested and made from high-quality Stainless Steel components. It allows for safe and secure closure when the chin bar is down and locked into position.This helmet has been constructed from a multi-ply matrix aim Shell which has proprietary technology to integrate the five-ply matrix. The interwoven layers of fiberglass with organic fibres and resin are hand-laid, and the shell-integrated spoiler with consistent shell thickness guarantees proper strength and weight. This helmet is available in 4 shell sizes and is DOT approved. The Neotec " has a multi-piece EPS liner which provides enhanced impact absorption by utilising varying densities of foam.This helmet has wind tunnel-tested aerodynamics which are optimised to performance in varying riding positions. There is a shell integrated spoiler which has been reshaped and repositioned to further reduce and lift and drag experienced, and there is a top air outlet which serves as a spoiler whilst in the upright riding position. In addition, there is a newly designed 'Aero Deflector' for improved chin bar aerodynamics.To ensure that the rider is cool throughout the ride, there are expanded 3-position upper air intake for increased ventilation performance, and an all-new exhaust outlet flank upper air intake which improves hot-air clearing. The ventilation is accessed by large upper and lower vent shutters which are easy to use in gloves.For noise reduction, the Neotec 2 has all-new 'Noise Isolator' cheek pads deflect wind and reduce unwanted noise and an enhanced shell shape which improves noise control and aerodynamics. There is a new airtight window bead and the chin bar s 'Vortex Generator' lip which also helps to reduce noise and manage airflow around the helmet, with the reduction of unwanted wind and road noise.The CNS-3 Shield has an all new design which provides improved air/water sealing and noise reduction, and also protects the rider from 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays. The visor has 3D injection-moulding which ensures distortion-free view throughout the entire field of vision, and the new airtight window beading drains and helps prevent water from entering. This helmet comes equipped with a Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system. There is also a built-in QSV-1 sun shield gives riders instant relief from sun glare in one quick motion which is accessed by a large, easily located switch activates the 3D injection-moulded inner shield. This Sun Shield exceeds ANSI Z80.3-2010 Standard for non-prescription eyewear.The Neotec 2 has been designed for integration with the SENA SRL/SRL2 Communication System which has been specially developed for the NEOTEC II, and is sold exclusively by SENA. The interior of the helmet is fully removable, washable, replaceable, and adjustable. There are multi-layer cheek pads for comfort and helmet stabilisation which are 3D shaped to match the contours of the rider's head.
