The reason Simon Harrison named this pendant after Clara Driscoll becomes apparent when it is held up to the light - the plique-à-jour (open to light) enamel evokes beautiful stained glass Tiffany lamps that the pioneering artist created. Crafted from sterling silver, the interlinked ivy leaves are decorated in a palette of four colors, each applied at varying stages over several days. Silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. Always protect this jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat or cold to minimise these effects. It is recommended that jewellery be removed when showering or bathing and particularly when on the beach, in the sea or in the pool. Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly onto the jewellery. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight, and avoid wearing jewellery when using bleach. To protect jewellery, pieces should be individually placed in a pouch or within a soft lined box to stop them getting scratched.
