Description
Glossy designer ceiling lamp Aurora made of Plainflex® and crystals Aurora ceiling lamp is a real highlight and an adornment for any room. The core consisting of crystals enhances the light, which almost seems to circle in the rhythm of their reflections, while the ceiling lamp spreads grace and elegance throughout the room. Thanks to a practical magnetic system, the lamp can be easily attached to the ceiling. The exceptionally designed lampshade can be conveniently removed, which facilitates both the replacement of the bulb and cleaning of surfaces. Made of high-quality technopolymers, specially developed and processed by the lighting manufacturer Slamp, the distinctive and luxurious design was created by the internationally renowned architect and designer Nigel Coates. But Aurora is not only a source of light that can be used in both private and gastronomic areas, it is also a design object and piece of furniture that knows how to enrich the prevailing style of living with a glamorous touch. British architect and designer Nigel Coates studied at the University of Nottingham. He was Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture at the Royal College of Art from 1995 to 2011 and became Emeritus Professor in 2011. In his career he has designed numerous furniture and lighting for various Italian companies. During the period from 2008 to 2010, he served as art director at Slamp. Coates strives to unite art and intelligence with architecture and design - whatever the space or object, he always interprets it with passion, irony and instinct. The Italian lighting company Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and places particular emphasis on the development of novel materials in the production of its designer lamps. Thus, Slamp developed the exclusive and specially patented technopolymers such as Cristalflex®, Opalflex® and Lentiflex®. These are not only particularly environmentally friendly, contributing to the reduction of environmental costs 4 times compared to the alternatives, but also serve to achieve unique lighting effects. Technopolymers are made without adhesives and screws, but are realized by hand through push-fit joints that can achieve shapes and effects that would not be possible with other materials.
