Ripstop is typically used in making products for the outdoors or clothing made to be hard-wearing like army uniforms. During weaving, thicker yarns are woven through the fabric in a grid pattern which re-enforces the fabric and makes it more resistant to tearing. And so, the FLAK Jacket was born.
