Description

This product is a high-quality salt mill. Crafted from maple wood, mahogany and walnut, The Snowy Owl uses the Danish-patented ceramic grinding mechanism from Crush Grind. Jesper Wolff wanted to create a natural, vibrant and functional salt mill. The wildlife of the northern hemisphere was central in his inspiration. It can be used in the kitchen, on the dining table or as a decorative wooden sculpture on a living room shelf. He thought it apt to utilise the owl's natural ability to rotate its head in the design. The salt grinder characteristic, attentive appearance fascinated Wolff and he has attempted to recreate this in his version of a modern salt grinder. Jesper Wolff has created a salt mill imbued with charm and humour. Its vivid and lovable expression means that it can both stand on a kitchen table or bring life to your window sill.
