About the Artist
Born in Suffolk in 1944, Bob Rudd specialises in evocative watercolour landscapes that seek to capture the majesty and grandeur of Britain's wild places. Between 1969 and 1973 Bob studied at the Bath Academy of Art, and in 1995 he became a member of the prestigious Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours.
Bob has exhibited his work extensively throughout London and the UK, including solo shows in London, Edinburgh and the Scilly Isles. In 2010, he was awarded the Turner Watercolour Award in recognition of the quality of his work.
His work is currently on display in an array of public and private collections, including Parliament and the House of Lords.
