Description
Stachyurus Praecox has arching branches giving it a rounded habit when grown as a free-standing specimen, with pendants of tiny bell-shaped flowers that dangle from naked bronze-coloured stems, that provide valuable nectar for early pollinating insects. This variety can also be trained to grow across wires to make a majestic wall shrub. This shrub is hardy and easy to grow but does require a non-alkaline soil. Height and spread: 3m (10”).
