Description
Provide a hard-wearing, attractive satin finish for natural slate surfaces with the StoneCare4U Essential Satin Finish Slate Sealer 5L 3 pack. This fast-drying formula creates a durable, stain-resistant coating with a satin gloss. Specifically designed for natural slate surfaces, it is also compatible with other porous natural stones like limestone and sandstone. Enhancing the natural colours, this product is suitable for both internal and external surfaces. How to apply: Remove any loose debris from the work surface before you start and ensure adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask and clothing. Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed; in addition, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing. Application temperature range: 15 degrees to 23 degrees Celsius. Apply Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish thinly and evenly with either a low-pressure sprayer, micro-fibre mop, paintbrush or soft cloth, taking care not to leave application marks or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute! Allow between 45 and 60 minutes of drying time before applying the second coat, repeating the same process; apply the product in the opposite direction to help achieve an even consistent finish. More coats can be applied if necessary to achieve a “gloss” finish. Please Note: Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish may change the colour/appearance of some surfaces – always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material. Please note this product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone.
