Our Peaches & Cream Blanket is a wonderful knitted sample blanket using a mix of four different knitted stitches in a peachy colour palette. Peaches and cream for dessert is one of those old comfort foods that reminds us of childhood. The warm colours of this delicious dessert, together with those childhood memories it conjures up, makes for a lovely themed and fun project. Each of the knitted stitches that makes up this pretty blanket creates a touchable texture, along with the ten peachy shades, the blanket makes for an engaging and interesting project that can be picked up and worked on in between busy days. We came up with the concept of Peaches and Cream, with the idea of having a vintage inspired blanket and colours to suit the theme. We had various stitches in mind and had some beautiful samples to choose from - our favourites were the lace-style stitches and ones creating a pretty wave effect. Designer, Nicola Valiji has brought our vision to life beautifully and we really hope you like it too! We’ve used the wonderful Stylecraft Special DK yarn, which is soft and warm and can be easily washed in the washing machine for practicality. The Peaches & Cream Blanket Colour Pack contains the 10 balls of Stylecraft Special DK yarn you need to complete the blanket, plus a printed copy of the pattern. These are the 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK yarn (295m/100% acrylic) that are included: 1 x Soft Peach (1240) 1 x Cream (1005) 1 x Blush (1833) 1x Pomegranate (1083) 1 x Shrimp (1132) 1 x Vintage Peach (1836) 1 x Saffron (1081) 1 x Apricot (1026) 1 x Toy (1844) 1 x Spice (1711) You will also need a 4mm (UK 8) circular knitting needle (80-100cm) length to accommodate the large number of stitches), which is not included. The completed blanket measures approximately 95 x 130cm/37.5 x 51". 100% Acrylic. Washable at 40 degree.
