The block will dissolve slowly and neutralise the aquarium water The feeding block dissolves releasing food particles. Ideal for taking care of the fish while you are away for the weekend. Made in the UK. Directions for use: Place the Supa Weekend Fish Food Block in the aquarium, it will dissolve slowly and neutralise the aquarium water as well as release food particles. Feeding Guide: As a guide one block placed in a 45 lite (10 galleon) aquarium should be sufficient to supplement the diet of 10 – 15 average aquarium fish for 3 – 4 days*. *This assumes a water temperature between 20 °C 25 °C. Lower temperature or highly alkaline water will inhibit dissolution, higher temperatures will accelerate it. Water Change: It is advisable to change approximately 10% of the aquarium water weekly and to circulate the water by a filtration or aeration system to assist dissolution of the block. The introduction of aquarium plants will provide an alternative source of food whilst you are away. Warning: Not suitable for Marine tanks.
