Superga 2435 Deadstock French Cotton Hi top trainer
Description
This ankle boot style is crafted from a sturdy cotton fabric from original French Army stock and styled with a reinterpreted sole used by Superga for its industrial workwear boots in the 50's. Built to be hardwearing, the foxing (where the upper and sole meet) is pressed with a fudge wheel while glueing to ensure excellent adherence and the classic Superga bumper is turned 45° compared to usual, which gives it a unique diamond appearance. Finished with shoelaces made from waxed cotton to provide extra grip and durability and the heel patch logo which was been designed to echo Superga's 50's tennis shoes, paying homage to the brand's origins. This style also includes an exclusive hangtag made in the same fabric and a print on the inner lining. The Superga Artifact collection takes its name from the Italian word “Artefatto” and pays homage to more than 100 years of expertise in making shoes. Being one of the brand's highest ranges, it has been designed with exceptional attention to detail, for the man of today who is keen on basic, yet refined, utilitarian style.
