Sylvanian Families Town Girl Series
Description
The town girl series - toy poodle - is a figure and accessory set with Laura cake bread, the chocolatier. She wears a soft pink dress with a fashionable belt and handbag. She is the perfect gift for any girl who loves the world of Sylvanian families. To kick off manufacturing, on March 20, 1985, Epoch came up with the idea for Sylvanian Families, a toy line that utilises the notion of dollhouses in conjunction with anthropomorphic animal characters. The line was first marketed in Japan. The dollhouses and other playsets that were available in the initial wave of production were constructed of porcelain, while the furniture was crafted from wood. In following manufacturing runs, however, the materials were switched out for plastic and metal instead of being used. Toys based on these characters were eventually distributed in North America during the same year, although they came in a different box and included some subtle alterations to their appearance. Sylvanian Families Pleasant Friends of the Forest Epoch System Collection Animal Toys was the original name of the toy line when it was first released. However, it was renamed to what it is now known as today. The Roman deity Silvanus is whence we get the word "Sylvanian," which meaning "of the forest."The first episode of the animated series, which was created by DIC Animation City and TMS Entertainment and shown over the course of 13 episodes, debuted in October 1987. The series had a lot of success in the United Kingdom and Spain. The name of the television series that was based on the Sylvanian Families brand was changed in several nations throughout the world. In addition, it was shown in the United States during the late 1980s on The CBN Family Channel and once again during the late 1990s on PAX TV. Later on in the same year, the company's success in these areas prompted an expansion into Western Europe, with the first step being the acquisition of exclusive rights for the brand in the United Kingdom by a Tomy subsidiary located in that country. In 1987, Tomy brought Sylvanian Families to the market in the United Kingdom, where it swiftly established itself as a best-seller.
