The cosy memory of “life back then at Mom’s" arouses emotions, and is raised to an advanced level with this 3-piece trivet-set called Ofenringe (stove burner rings). The idea for these interlocking, conically shaped rings dates back to the time when cast-iron, wood-fired stoves were the focal point of every well-equipped kitchen. The individual stove burner rings could be pulled out of the stove plate with a hook so that the hearth’s opening could be easily adapted to fit the pot in use. The design, by Prof. Andreas Kramer and the powder-coated aluminium production impress with their clarity and are a beautiful reminiscence of times gone by."
