It is advisable to vacuum the carpet regularly to preserve its appearance, thus avoiding a sober looking room. It is also recommended to professionally clean the carpet once a year. The rug is rolled up during shipment and packed in plastic foil. When unfolding the rug it occurs that sometimes creases are will be visible. You remove creases by placing something heavy (safe) on it. After a few days, the carpet should then lie flat on the floor. Normally you get creases from a carpet by using it in the normal way.
