Ritzenhoff & Breker The rounded contours of the Taste side plate are reminiscent of the pebbles one finds on a beach or shore. Over the course of many thousands of years, these formerly angular rock fragments were bumped, rubbed and gradually smoothed as they were transported by rivers and the sea. They formed countless soft, organically rounded, asymmetrically shaped pebbles, the design of which has inspired this dinner plate. The nature-oriented aesthetic is perfected by the slightly uneven and faded-looking coloured edges and small specks of colour that evoke patina, defects and signs of wear - all of which give the dinner plate character.
