The multimode sensor has the facility to automatically change its operating configuration according to the required application, at just a press of the teach button. The sensor can operate in one of four modes: IR Thru-beam IR Diffuse IR Diffuse with background suppression Polarised reflex The thru-beam mode will require the IT Thru-Beam Transmitter (65-8570), and to use the polarised reflex mode a suitable reflector is required.
