The Chocolate Libertine Orange Wafer Milk Chocolate Thins 150g
Description
As soon as these hit the shelves of our Foodmarket, they vanish into thin air. The Chocolate Libertine's Orange Wafer Milk Chocolate Thins are joyful little puddles of the richest melt-in-the-mouth milk chocolate, hand spooned with festive orange oil and crisp feuilletine. The latter are the top secret of great patissiers; these flakes of baked sweetened crêpe batter add crunchiness, buttery richness and caramel notes to anything they're sprinkled into or onto. Eating ourselves thin can wait, we're all about eating these thins at the moment. Julie Devonald never expected to end up making chocolate. While studying textile design, she took a temporary job working with Gerard Ronay, the leading British chocolatier at the time. She fell in love with it and after gaining more experience at an award-winning, London-based chocolate house, set up The Chocolate Libertine in 2009. Based in the Buckinghamshire village of Stoke Pogues, she works with chocolate from Callebaut, a Belgian Chocolatier who sources 100% sustainable cocoa as well as teaching craftsmanship, empowering female farmers and inspiring younger generations in the Ivory Coast and Ghana. With over twenty years of experience in the industry and a real eye for the details of design, The Chocolate Libertine's unique and creative chocolates are simply stunning, on the eye and in the mouth.
