Commonly known as the Fiddle-Leaf Fig, Ficus lyrata 'Compacta' is a spectacular house plant, grown for its impressive foliage. This handsome evergreen has lovely glossy leaves, which reflect the light beautifully. Each leaf has a stiff, leathery feel with a distinctive shape and pale, prominent veins. Although relatively slow-growing, if given the correct growing conditions it will ultimately form a tall, slender specimen. Ficus lyrata 'Compacta' requires plenty of bright light making it a good choice for a conservatory or bright living room. Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested.
